So powerful the triggers in our life …

As I put on this hat to go for a walk on the beach with Mr M, suddenly I think … I’ve loved hats for as long as I can remember.

My dad bought me a super cool straw cowboy hat when we were in Mammoth together, one of our last trips together.

I finally let go of the hat that was tattered, torn and all beaten up after years of wear and tear … yet, I don’t even need the hat to remind me of my father’s devotion, love, commitment to being the best father he could be to me and my brothers.

Tears run down my cheeks as I write this and remember how lucky I was to have such an amazing father like him.

I’ll have to share more with you what a truly wonderful man he was and how he lived his life … sincere, strong, devoted, clear. So clear about his purpose. Happy Fathers Day to my dad in heaven!
